NIOS Class 10, also known as the Secondary course, can be taken by anyone with age 14 and 8th class pass certificate. It allows students to pursue their education at their own pace. The students can select 5 subjects from approximately 32 subjects (including languages) and prepare for the exams whenever they want. The learners receive an SSLC Certificate upon completion of this course. This course is helpful for working professionals and those who ended their school education in the middle

The final examination is conducted twice a year in the month of April and October.

NIOS Class 12/ Senior Secondary Course, can be taken by anyone with age 15 and 10th class pass certificate. It assists students in completing their higher secondary education through Distance Learning.
